The Supply has a strong commitment to design and ensuring we are continuously up-to-date on the latest technologies. As a programming intern, it’ll be your duty to help keep our website current, while incorporating new technological elements into our work. Furthermore, you will work with the Creative Department on designing marketing and communication materials.
-Maintain the our official website and recommend adjustments to increase functionality
-Work with Development Coordinator on designing various marketing campaigns
-Evaluate the current use of technology within daily operations and provide recommendations on how to improve
-Advise on long-term technology strategies
-Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
-Demonstrate understanding of basic design principles including layout, typography, color, etc.
-Well-advanced in web-design/HTML coding
-Proficient in Java coding
-Special consideration given to those with PHP, C++, and Python coding skills, though not required
-Ability to work independently as well as in a team
-Ability to handle multiple projects at a single time
-Works well in dynamic environments
Open to sophomores, juniors, or seniors at a 4 year institution. The duration of internship is: 06/14-08/14. Intern will report to our headquarters in Long Island City, NY.
